It has come to our attention that access to this site has been limited on some bases.  Due to this issues we have moved the hosting company used for this site.  We believe that most of the issues have now been resolved.  However if you are still aware of any issues please contact us add let us know of any problems you have.

Information Technology Management (CP 34 Functional) Courses

* New for FY 10 *

Eligibility

All personnel currently serving within the Information Technology Management Career Program 34 are eligible to sign up for the courses. Military personnel serving in IT related positions are also eligible if seats are available. Contractors must have COR approval to attend these courses to ensure contract integrity.

Enrollment

Students must communicate with their training coordinators to register for these courses in ATRRS.  Training coordinators have enrollment access to ATTRS to register students for classes.  Please note:  Instructors and staff of the School of Information Technology DO NOT have enrollment access to ATRRS and do not have the ability to enroll students.  NOTE: ATRRS Managers MUST input CP34 in the CAREER PROGRAM field when enrolling students in CP34 classes.  Depending upon employment position, the following is required:

 

· Military/Civilian personnel require a DD Form 1610 .

· Ft Gordon military personnel require a DA Form 4187 in lieu of a DD Form 1610

· DA civilians not in TDY Status require SF182.

· All Contract personnel require SF182. Must check w/COR for eligibility based on contract.

· All personnel (mil & civ) without TDY orders are required to have a signed memorandum from their command requesting a seat within that course. An example of the memo may be found at http://ia.signal.army.mil

Course Schedules

1. Access the ATRRS catalog online at:

2. Enter the following data into the search fields:

· Course Number

· Fiscal Year

· School Code:  113

3. Click the Search the ATRRS Course Catalog button

4. Click the course link for the schedule for the Fiscal Year

Class Hours

Classes are held Monday to Friday from 0800—1700; make  travel arrangements accordingly.  Report to Cobb Hall Day 1 for in processing.

Class Locations

Classes will be held in Cobb Hall, Saltzman Hall, or Modular Buildings, all of which are located on Chamberlain Ave.

Vehicle Registration

Students driving on Ft Gordon who do not have a current DoD sticker should enter the installation from the Main Gate (1).  A temporary pass can be obtained from the MP station, which is located in Bldg 29717 on B Street between Rice Rd and 29th St.  If a temporary pass is not obtained, drivers can be delayed when entering gates.  For more information on vehicle registration, call the MPs at 706-791-3132 (DSN 780).

Delays

Students should anticipate moderate to long delays at all gates.  Leave lodging to allow time for gate delays.

Driving Directions

1.  From I20:  Take Belair Rd/Jimmie Dyess Pkwy exit.  If travelling East, take a right off the exit.  If travelling West, take a left.  Travel approximately 3 miles until you reach Ft Gordon Gate 1.

2.  From Bobby Jones Expwy (I520):  Take Ft Gordon exit.  Merge onto Gordon Hwy and travel approximately 2.5 miles until you reach Chamberlain Ave (3rd traffic light).  Take a left into Ft Gordon Gate 1.

3.  From Augusta Regional/Bush Field Airport:  Travel out of main airport entrance onto Tobacco Rd (straight).  Continue on Tobacco Rd for approximately 10 miles until you reach Ft Gordon Gate 5.

4.  From Gate 5/Tobacco Rd:  After entering Gate 5, drive straight ahead and turn left on Chamberlain Ave.  Follow the directions below.

5.  From the Ft Gordon [Main] Gate 1/Gordon Hwy:  You will be on Chamberlain Avenue.  After you pass the 9 story building, Signal Towers, look for 25th St.

6.  Turn left and park across the street from Cobb Hall.

 

NOTE: Students should NOT park in the lot next to or around the building, which is reserved for Cobb Hall employees.
