Army Senior Info System Chief

Principal NCO of a centralized automated information processing activity/engineering automation branch in Corps, Theater, or higher level headquarters, Corps Signal Office, ACofS Information Management, USA element of joint services command, ACOFS, G6 HHC Theater Support Command, or Army Network Operations and Security Center (ANOSC). Supervises, plans coordinates and directs the employment, operation, management, and unit level maintenance of multi-functional/multi-user information processing systems in mobile and fixed facilities. Provides technical and tactical advice to command and staff concerning all aspects of information processing system operations, maintenance, and logistical support. Supervise installation, operation, strapping, restrapping, PMCS and unit level maintenance on COMSEC devices. Conducts briefings on the status, relationship, and interface of information processing systems within assigned area of interest. Supervises or prepares technical studies, evaluations, reports, correspondence, and records pertaining to multi-functional/multi-user information processing systems. Plans, organizes, and conducts technical inspections. Supervises development of the information systems plans (ISP), information management plan (IMP), and information management master plan (IMMP). Reviews, consolidates, and forwards final written input for the continuity of operations plan (COOP). Develops and enforces policy and procedures for facility operations and management. Enforce information security (INFOSEC), operations security (OPSEC), and physical security per regulations and policies. Prepares or supervises the preparation of technical studies, evaluations, reports, correspondence, software programs, program editing, debugging, and associated functions; and maintains records pertaining to information system operations. Briefs staff and operations personnel on information systems matters.

Army Division Info Chief

Principle NCO in charge of a Division Signal office or Division G6. Supervises, plans coordinates and directs the employment, operation, management, and unit level maintenance of multi-functional/multi-user information processing systems in mobile and fixed facilities at Infantry, Artillery, Armor, Aviation or Engineer Division. Provides technical and tactical advice to command and staff concerning all aspects of information processing system operations, maintenance, and logistical support. Supervise installation, operation, strapping, restrapping, PMCS and unit level maintenance on COMSEC devices. Conduct briefings on the status, relationship, and interface of information processing systems within assigned area of interest. Army IA Staff NCO

Creates Information Assurance (IA) policy and performs management functions in Division, Corps, Theater Communications Command, Army Service Component Command and Network Operation Centers, Army Network Operations and Security Center (ANOSC) and Theater Network Operations and Security Center (TNOCS). Operates and manages the Network Security Management System, formerly called IAMA, in Div, Corps, Theater Communications Command and Army Service Component Command.

Army Senior Data System Integrator

Supervises automations operations administration, local area network administration, and system/software security in an Infantry, Armor, Artillery, Engineer, or Aviation Brigade. Determines IP addresses for computers on the local network, routers, and switches. Sets up topology, cabling schemes, and passwords for the routers. Maintains hardware, software, tools and reference material for network. Connects devices and determines placement of routers and switches for servers. Installs Web servers, file servers, print servers domain name servers, and mail servers. Maintains Active Directory content. Creates user accounts are sets up necessary user workstation application software. Troubleshoots network to include connectivity, hardware and software issues. Supervises subordinate soldiers.
